If it isn't cited, consider it to be my opinion. Orientation Frequently Asked Questions Welcome to V2 of my spreadsheet! I've re-made the sheet to be clearer and more comprehensive than the original, thanks in part to tricks I stole from Snow#3427 of the Lifeskill discord. Is there a difference between regular and hidden accuracy / evasion? No. How do I find my accuracy / evasion? See Table to get a quick and dirty glance at the relationship between accuracy and evasion. The easiest way is to input your gear into BDOPlanner.com and see what it outputs there. You want to use "Evasion" and "Hidden Evasion". The Melee / Ranged / Magic values are from your class, and are accounted for in this sheet. You can also see your accuracy in-game by hovering over the ? by your AP, but that will not include your crystals. See Calculator to get more finely tuned information that can directly and accurately reflect your character's interactions with hit rates. See Build Samples to see some examples of late game builds so you can get an idea of what values players actually walk around with. Does my level affect my hit rate? Just don't send me my own, old, and completely invalid reddit post from 3 years ago when stats were hidden lmao. General Information Is evasion superior to DR late game? This entire sheet is based on work by Bigandshiny, the developer(s) behind BDOCodex and BDOPlanner, and dataminers. I did not fabricate anything here, I only implemented existing information. If you want to limit your AP and push a DP build, then usually yes. Otherwise, usually no. I cannot spoonfeed a better answer. Are O'dyllita accessories best-in-slot? If you would like to better understand or challenge the math and values this sheet is based on, please reach out to those people. You can find their contact information in Sources & References. Turo's belt is probably best-in-slot for most classes, otherwise it depends. Is Kzarka better than Offin? It seems unlikely that trading 20 accuracy for 3 mainhand-only AP is a good deal, since it is by far the best tradeoff of AP to accuracy. However, it may be good for some classes. I would also appreciate messages about any bugs, mistakes, or suggestions you may have! Why do you suggest -15% Evasion debuffs in the calculator? Because the debuff is frequently applied by witches and wizards (Voltaic Pulse), so most of your targets will have this applied to them. Rangers also apply a -12% Evasion all the time (Blasting Gust). For 1v1 calculations, set to what your class has available. How do you calculate Hit Rate? The base formula is: Hit Rate = 0.2624 * [Total Accuracy] - 0.2101 * [Total Evasion] + 60.713 Next, you have to factor in percentage based modifiers, including: At what dodge rate does Evasion become better than similar geared DR? - Infinite Mastery IV (+2%) Not sure yet, check back in a few days or so. I have to investigate bigandshiny's research on DR. The formula is more complciated than hit rate.- Accuracy Rate +X% on passives - Accuracy Rate +X% on skills - Accuracy Rate +X% self-buffs Update: There is no straightforward AP / DR equation. Build AP AAP DP Accuracy Evasion DR The gear seen in these sets are not supposed to be ideal, optimal, or synergetic. AP The classes chosen for the sets are mostly arbitrary. This build uses DR armor and is favored by classes with extremely high built-in accuracy, such as Ranger and Valkyrie. While these may be technically "inaccurate", they usually don't matter because no class has different evasion values between melee and ranged.
